Car insurance for dummies - Part 2 - Quality versus price
By admin • May 9th, 2008 • Category: car insurance guideWhile using price comparisons sites will help you compare the prices across the market, and prices that in theory should be what you end up paying (but lets face it, in many cases it is not), it is also important not to rely only on price.
You should beforehand be aware of exactly what you need from you car insurance policy. For example do you require a free courtesy car, breakdown cover, windshield cover, no claims bonus protection etc. Then you should also double check with the prices that comes back in the comparisons results table that they include those things, and at what level.
Rule 2 - If the price is too good to be true alarm bells should start ringingIt is also a good idea to check the insurance company by doing a search for other consumers feedback on the company’s service if you have not heard of them before. But also remember that not all unknown companies are scams as it might end up costing you a few saved £’s if you just write them off as scam straight away.
Sometimes it is best to take the butchers word for it and not stick your head too far up the bulls ass!
